Textile recycler FABSCRAP is upgrading. The nonprofit is relocating its warehouse from Jamaica, Queens to the Brooklyn Army Terminal in Sunset Park.
The 18-month-old organization recently leased 4,100 square feet for three years on the fifth floor at 140 58th Street between Second Avenue and the East River, according to the landlord, New York City Economic Development Corporation. The group is about to move into the space, which is part of the army terminal’s micro-manufacturing hub.
